Review Notes: My 1st Gurkah-a freind told me this was on the of his list, so had to try one. Had a couple in the humio for about 4 months - based on what I'm reading a little time to mature is essential. I found it to be mild to med, sweat and favorful. Certainly a nice smoke. I'll order more now to let settle in the box a while. Worth a try. I like the RP's Vintage 1990-found this to be similar. RP's seconds are better value.

Review Notes: I received this stick in a Gurkha sampler pack and after enjoying the Gurkha Legend that was included I had similar high hopes for the Regent. The draw was similar to what I imagine smoking a snickers bar would be. I trimmed more from the end but it didn't seem to help. About half way through a decent draw could be achieved with some effort. This revealed some nice flavor that did redeem the stick a little in my eyes. However the wrapper began peeling and flaking badly at this point also. It became difficult to keep the stick lighted at this point. The flavor that did come through was good but there was to much work involved in getting a good draw and keeping the thing lit.

Review Notes: This is my second experience with the Regent. The first was horrendous, but this one was pretty darn good. I espeically liked the flavor and the amount of smoke it produces.

Review Notes: Christmas dinner finished with a cigar that I was gifted from a friend, and was long overdue for trying. Stored at 65%H for 3 months, it wsa ready to go, and looked beautiful Started without issue, burn was phenominal, and draw was perfect. Early flavors were better, more cocoa, and a bit of cedar, High points for construction, and I just love the shape. Flavor could have been more bold, but was certainly fine. Bottom line, these are really nice smokes.
