Review Notes: This is a pretty good medium bodied smoke. Nice toasty earth flavor, builds up to a nice leathery flavor in the second half. Construction was great and burn was great. Wouldn't buy a box but a nice occasional smoke to pick up at the shop.

Review Notes: I would recommend some aging on this guy for you medium fans like myself. Just don't pass them up because theres a layered flavor quality in every puff which is quite satisfying. Well constructed, good burn yet not a sturdy ash but worth a try

Review Notes: I smoked over the weekend after I smoked my first ever Gurkha legend. This was a little young and needs more time in the humi. It wasn't awful, and I could tell it was a very good smoke. The construction was excellent (square pressed)except some uneveness in the burn. The aroma was floral and nutty. There was an undertone I couldnt place at first, then I recognized it as a combination of berrylike spice. The first 3rd was smooth and then it became spicey. Then some undertones of vanilla, and then it became smoother. All the while I couldn't get over the pleasant smell. The draw was just right without being too loose. There was plenty of smoke. I appreciated the complexity of it, and liked the lack of harshness. This blend was done with some thought; and is a top of the line smoke because of it. I got mine at auction, and the value is great.

Review Notes: Great draw, great construction, and consistant flavor. However, I think the one I smoked was lacking maturity. It tasted sour, altho it almost tasted spicy, it just had a bitter tinge to it. Will perhaps try again after aging one.

Review Notes: This cigar started out slowly with some tangy bits that weren't all that pleasant. Fortunately that disappeared after the first 1/2" and turned toasty and smooth with alternating highlights of coffee, cocoa and leather. The cigar was med+ in body with occasional bits of bitterness. With additional aging the bitterness is gone, but the flavors are substantially subdued and not nearly as impressive. There's a middle point where the tendency to bitterness is gone but the strength remains....but that's hard to hit.
