Review Notes: 49 days in the humi. Cost $2.55. Shows off a near coal black wrapper with the typical excessive size and # of Gurkha labels. Feel is dense and solid. Pre-light aroma of dark chocolate and leather. Almost immediately after lighting the wrapper around the cut started to shred a bit but not enough to effect the ability to smoke. Burn was good to start out but became somewhat uneven and needed a few re-lights toward the last half. Ash was a bit loose and flakey. Flavor profile overall was medium bodied, pleasant and smooth. Notes of dark chocoalte, leather and earth with some background hints of espresso and spices come to mind. Didn't get much complexity from this cigar being a bit one dimensional. The fraying cut end became a bit annoying, but I have heard that Gurkha is well known for their wrapper problems. An OK cigar but doubt I would go back for more after I smoke up my next 4.

Review Notes: ok, so after 2 "bad" experiences, I must say, this last one was very good. no wrapper problems, good construction, nice spicy taste throughout, great draw, and on and on! It seems that others have had "consistency" problems with this cigar too. On another note, I contacted CI about the bad cigars I previously had, and they sent me out some new ones. Now, I ordered the first set of 5 probably 4-6 months ago? But the new 3 they sent me were different (not in taste or anything, I havent smoked any of the new 3 yet) b/c if you look closely on the 2nd band...yes there are two bands on this cigar....but if you look on the bottom band FUERTE is in cursive on these 3, while on the other set of the old 5 (I've smoked three out of the five, two of which sucked and one was great!) the FUERTE is in standard print. Does this mean the cigar is different in any way? The main band is the exact same, but what I think is that this slight change must mean a different "batch" or year? Any insight would be great. Just my thoughts. Hope you get a good one, b/c its a great experience!

Review Notes: this thing looks great, nice appearance, but every single one I have smoked has burned like crap, with the wrapper tearing, etc. Its not my humidor, all other cigars burn, no crack, its this cigar only! same your money, by some rocky patel vintage pressed, or indian tabac (same company).

Review Notes: obvious attempt to rip into the 5 Vegas Series A glory imo. Nice try. Series A is cheaper and more flavorful. How are these fuerte?! nice mild and sweet smoke though.

Review Notes: Khasid (sic?) advertises this as "the strongest cigar we make.......you'd better sit down for this one" he says. "Sit down" is right.........sit down and weep because you blew money on this overhyped brand once again you knucklehead. Its an impressive looking cigar, beautiful band, coal black wrapper, great pre-light aroma........absolutely bland flavor. If there's (supposedly) so much Ligero in this why aren't my taste buds registering it? I truly want to like this brand but so far all i've gotten was smokes that generally all have the same flavor profile. I will continue my quest though........
