Review Notes: I was very excited to get 12 of these beauties on special, for about $3.75 a piece. I put them in the humidor for about a week before trying the first one. I have to say that Gurkha makes a good looking cigar, but, that was all this cigar had going for it. At first, it was not bad, a little more mild than I had expected. Then the wrapper started to split and before I was an inch into it, the wrapper unraveled. I smoked through it to give this thing a shot and was dissapointed as the whole experience continued down hill. On a positive note, the last 1 1/2 was a full bodied and delicious. after leting them sit about 4-5 weeks, I have had 8 of them and only one smoked without splitting and unravelling. I will not order this smoke again...Ever.

Review Notes: I am a huge fan of most Gurkhas, the darker ones in particular. However, this one is only a decent smoke. I think it tastes okay, not too complex and not too flavorful for a dark cigar. It generates a lot of good smoke and a decent ash. It's really not bad, but I was expecting more from a Gurkha. I would prefer their other darks or something like a La Gloria Cubana maduro, Excaliber, etc...

Review Notes: The most beautiful looking cigar I've had. Flavor was on the money. Burned un-even so I had to re-light about 2 times in an hour. Get it on sale, regular price will hurt.

Review Notes: I'd love to tell you how these taste. Sadly, the first and only one I've smoked out of a dozen so far split and peeled worse than any cigar I've ever had. At first, it was just a small split. Then I heard a louder and larger one. Soon, the entire wrapper was coming apart. I really couldn't tell how it actually tastes, since the wrapper went AWOL early on. Pieces of the cigar I was trying to smoke lay all around my feet before I gave up.

    Review Title: The real deal...NOT

Review Notes: This cigar has beautiful looking oils. Also has great looking construction. Unfortunately it tastes like it was not fermented, not cured, and soaked in motor oil. It needs a good five years hiding in a humidor to be smokeable. And even then, it may not loose all the total ass flavor. Young way overpriced dog rocket. I have to quit buying in to the hype of this brand. But the boxes are soooo pretty.
