Review Notes: I too got this in a sampler which also included the titan, beast, vintage shaggy, and crest (?). A fine cigar, not worth the msrp though. It is very smooth, with clean tobacco taste. Burned fairly evenly with cool, soothing smoke.

Review Notes: I got a smaller ring version of this cigar as part of a special sampler. I have to admit, I'm a Gurkha ho. With the exception of the Vintage, which I hate, and couple others that are just OK, I have liked just about every cigar KH puts out. Doble Mad and KH Gold are go-to cigars for me. I didn't want to have to drop $30 on a cigar to try it, however. Paid $3 for this plus the same for each in the sampler. I didn't realize these came with such a pale wrapper. Being a fan of medium to strong cigars, I was apprehensive. However, this had plenty of oomph (I'd say a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 in strength) and gobs of flavor. Wish I could got a box or three of these for this price. Burn was flawless, too, but that may be due in part to the smaller ring, a 52.

Review Notes: Beautiful wrapper, solid construction with great draw provides volumes of smoke and only minor burn irregularities. Great value as a special and a nice start to the day.
