Review Notes: A good cigar in most respects, but nothing to justify the MSRP. For most Gurkha's you never come close to that, especially on c-bid. I rated this over a year ago and I can't say this cigar improved with age. The burn and draw were as good as on any Gurkha, I've ever had. The taste was not that exciting, a mild experience with some hints of nuts, wood and ash. I smoked it around a campfire and had a good sipping whiskey that really improved the cigar. If you can get these for close to $3, go for it. I wouldn't pay much more.

Review Notes: Medium smoke, great construction, easy draw. Ash held well with a light grey color and speckled with white. Taste was medium with a hint of coffee, slightly bitter at end but well worth 3.00 bucks. good cigar overall.

Review Notes: got a 5 pack at cbid - started out the first 2 inches with a wonderful sweet cream and soft leather...then....then...nothing...just got more bland the further i went. hopefully some aging will help. thin wrappers so be careful! not bad for the price though

Review Notes: The Gurkha Expedition Toro is a good enough cigar for most brands but only passable for a Gurkha. It's still better than the Vintage Robusto. Like most raters have mentioned the problem is the flavor. The taste holds up for about half the cigar and then becomes bitter towards the finish. I will say that it's a well built cigar and burned like a champ. I didn't experience any draw problems on the 5-pack I smoked. I just missed that kick-butt Gurkha taste.

Review Notes: Hey good looking cigar. Just missing flavor. If you are a super mild cigar smoker then maybe these are for you. I just can't get through more than half of one due to the lack of flavor.
