Review Notes:
This was my first Gurkha cigar and i came away totally impressed.
Appearance showed a rustic, toothy dark and oily wrapper whick looked like a dark chocolate candy bar. Had a solid, heavy feel with a slight moist sponginess.
Pre-light aroma was that of rich fermented leathery dark tobacco. Upon lighting the cigar imediately produced a copious amount of aromatic smoke. Burn was consistent throughout the first 2/3rd's but needed a few re-lights and touch-ups for the last 1/3rd. May be due to the fact that I was smoking it outside on a humid Florida night.
Flavors were full and rich but not overtly strong. Reminded me of the 5 Vegas A Series cigars, lots of deep, dark chocolate, espresso, figs, molasses against a background of cedar and spices. I found the flavor of the leaf on the tongue and lips to be slightly bitter, but the smoke itself was smooth and velvety.
Took this baby right down to the delicious nub and it remained smooth, tasty and cool.
Enjoyed this with a Unibroue rois Pistoles Strong Belgian Ale and a Norht Coast Old Stock Barley Wine.
Extremely enjoyable!!

Review Notes:
Burn was good, draw was inconsistent. Wrapper slightly came up in a couple spots. Flavor was very good. Chocolate and semi sweet with pretty nice strength. Not bad but not too great at the same time.

Review Notes:
This is the first Gurkha I tried. And it instantly made me a fan. Before even lighting, the cigar looks fantastic. A strong, flavorful smoke. I did however have a bit of trouble with the wrapper coming loose halfway into the cigar.
Overall, it was a wonderful smoke, and I'm already looking at trying other Gurkhas.

Review Notes:
Great taste, smooth, creamy mocha finish and over all great taste. The only problem I had was with the wrapper, it kept seperating. Took too much fighting to get more that a 6 in construction. I had bought several from my normal smoke shop, infact the Gurka rep was there this day, so I figured that it wouldn't have been mishandled. I had also left them in my humidor for a couple of months.

Review Notes:
Had one of these a few day after smoking K. Hansotia X3 Triple Ligero. It is better so the value is better and the construction is better as well, but I still would like more strength and flavor. This was a little more complex with sweet cream and cocoa in with the overall coffee flavor. I will still buy these on occasion but don't think I will be getting a box anytime soon.
