Review Notes:
I have enjoyed every Ghurka I have had before this one, and the Evil is one of my favorites, so I had high expectations for the Grand Envoy. It came as one of the add ons you are offered from Cigars International and I bought a 10 pack. So far, I've had 3 of them.
The first was OK, not great, but OK. The flavor was OK, the wrapper was aesthetically pleasing, but there were burn issues (canoeing needing frequent touch ups). I had it after only one week so I was looking forward to them after some aging.
I lit the second after about a month in the humidor. It was one of the nastiest cigars I've ever had. It tasted horrible- bitter, and earthy in a bad way (kind of like manure, or what I'd expect manure to taste like). There were lots of burn issues- the canoeing needed constant touch ups with the lighter, and then it started tunneling. A major disappointement.
So a week or two later (yesterday) I try the third. This time the flavor it good, maybe great. A nice medium to full cigar. The wrapper is still aesthetically pleasing. No construction issues with the wrapper coming apart (same with the others). However, major burn issues again- it keeps canoeing and I can't stop it. Further, this one was had a very tight draw for about the first 1/4 of the cigar.
I have 7 more. I'll continue to smoke them (assuming the rest aren't like the 2nd). I am disappointed that the only thing consistent about them are the burn issues. I have really liked the sub-$10 Ghurkas and found them to be great cigars for the money, and this one has been a terrible disappointment. Unless the next 7 are incredible I probably won't order any more of these.

Review Notes:
I was greatly dissapointed in this cigar, after reading so many great reviews. The draw was tight and almost nonexistent at some points. Had to relight a few times, and the canoe dipped real low. The flavor left much to be desired as well.

Review Notes:
i was surprised to find this stick was so mild. but had rich tones of cashew and wood, with a little cinnamon kick. again with all the lines they have now i think this was a nice addition. pleasing to the palate and was reasonable in price. price is 5 pack price per.

Review Notes:
Great looks, draw and taste. Some variation from stick to stick in burn characteristics, but one helluva value for under $3 apiece. Initial impression seems to leave some room for improvement, and improve it does. All in all, a great Gurkha.

Review Notes:
This wasn't a terrible cigar, but maybe they need more time in the humi. It started off nice but started going sour and harsh after about a half inch. Burned a bit hotter than I'd expected and started to canoe a bit. I'll keep the other 4 in the humi for a few months and try another. Other than that, construction was flawless, draw was nice, pre-light aroma was very nice.
