Review Notes: This was a really enjoyable, great looking stick, with a perfect draw (the previous "tight draw" comments must have been applied to an earlier vintage), plenty of aromatic smoke, and a steady burn. Only disappointment for me was a slightly loose ash, which didn't hold well. The medium body remained consistent throughout and and finished strong.

Review Notes: H upmann has really hit the spot with this cameroon. I offers a nice rich cameroon flavor. It's not as strong as a Excalibur 1066 or monte afrique but still offers the great cameroon spice. It always burns and draws well. A great cameroon if you can get it at a fair price.

Review Notes: I was so excited to buy a three pack of these things. They looked beautiful when I finally got them home, but that's where the love affair ends. 2 of them were a very tight draw and all three wrappers cracked to the point where the cigars were just falling apart. They tasted ok, but were such a pain in the ass watching them fall apart that I couldn't really enjoy it. I must have gotten some duds, but I expected much more from these guys.

Review Notes: I remember these being a bit dull when I first bought them two years ago. I also had some draw problems with that first few, but no more. The one I had this morning was top shelf. Medium bodied and complex. Had a faint taste of coconut (I suppose that's the "macaroon" flavor I occasionally see in a CA writeup?). I've never noticed that flavor up in a smoke before. Turns surpisingly earthy in the second half. A very good smoke.

Review Notes: Not the best Cameroon out there, but a Damned good price on a good cigar...Consistency throughout boxes as well as consistency from box to box is sometimes an issue-when they are good, they're incredible, but when they're not, be prepared for intense tongue tingling spice that's on the bitter side (not the good kind of spice)...overall, I think it IS worth it to take the chance, because you always get some good ones even in a "not so good" box, and the bad ones you can always pair up with something sweet to balance it out. The Cameroon wrapper is suprisingly strong for a Cameroon, this is a definate plus-because SOMEtimes (not often) the draw is tight, which puts extra stress on the wrapper. Overall, if you're in the market for a cameroon, this is hard to beat for the price, I'd recommend to those who know what to expect in terms of spice...put em down for 6 months or so and you'll be happy.
