Review Notes: It's too bad you can only give a ten for flavor because this gets an eleven! This is not smoking a cigar, this is a cigar experience. Lots of folks rate cigars on a price x flavor scale, which is helpful when choosing amongst mere mortals; but cigars like these render that rating system irrelevant because the end game should be aroma, flavor and taste. At below 20 bucks, this delivers that on a scale at such a high level that one of these is worth having 3 or 4 of almost anything else: tobacco, toast, coffee, burnt carmel, cocoa, it's all there and with a richness that lingers in the mouth minutes after you puff. A classic and not even one year old!

Review Notes: this is without a doubt the best EL I've ever smoked, for it's age...top three regardless of age. They hit a home run with this release, and I consider myself lucky to have gotten 2 boxes.This cigar will be impossible to find soon, as it's not only outstanding in every way, but it's very reasonable for an EL...I paid $325.00 a box for them at Top Cubans, (on sale). Dark, dark wrapper, visibly oily and smooth,gorgeous three-piece cap, very best construction, burn and taste. Notes of Dark chocolate, black pepper, spices galore and dark roasted coffee beans, light floral beginnings, mouthsful of tobacco smoke so rich you can almost chew it, this all from a cigar off the rolling table 4 months. The draw was luscious on the two I smoked, and the rest of box one feels the same. This is going to be, IMHO, one of the best cigars ever in a couple years. I have a box of Cohiba Double Coes, EL 2003, and they are the bomb, however...this could be a bog one. I recommend any collector, or any lover of exquisite cigars should splurge on a box, and try your best to hang on to them! Only my second perfect rating of my life.

Review Notes: this one came to me as a perfect 10... why? They always talk of aging a cigar, well, this one wasn't, of course, but matched a highly premium aged cuban... so why not give it a perfect 10? They will be shure with some age on them, saving now for my first box... by the way, I have never given a perfect score, had to happen some day!!!

Review Notes: This is an incredible cigar!! Perfectly shaped attractive Robusto with an inviting brown wrapper with medium veins. Solid construction, even dense, with no soft spots. Nice prelight aroma. Easy light. Firm draw that required a modified Draw Poker (a bamboo skewer) to get it to loosen up a bit. Uneven burn in the first third despite storage for 3 months at 65/62 that required a relight and a couple corrections (though also smoked on a windy day). Gray-white flakey ash. Blue smoke. Started immediately with cream, wood, white & black pepper, and spice. This mellowed out in the first third but maintained its creamy complexity, with a toasted wood flavor and tangy spice. The middle third was loaded with coffee, mild nuts, and an herbal flavor which melded nicely with the tangy foundation. Notes of cinnamon and vanilla were also noticeable. The last third brought a floral quality and a tangy sweetness that made for a wonderful, medium-to-full bodied complex smoke. All in all, this one hour 45 minute smoke was one of the best I have ever had. The Mag 46 is my favorite smoke - hands down - but this one clearly runs in the top 5. Additional age will undoubtedly make this cigar a classic. Will definitely buy more!
