Review Notes:
This is a damn good smoke! By appearance, it is an attractive, but plain-looking brown wrapper with medium veins. Solid construction with a nice cap and no soft spots. Wonderful pre-light aroma that only a Cuban can give. After an easy light, this stick started immediately with mild spice, wood, and cream. The creaminess intensified as it got down to the halfway point, where the complexity increased with the addition of a hint of burnt coffee and earth. The "woodiness" flavor separated into 2 ntoes - a distinct cedary note as well as oak. In the last 1/3, I detected floral notes, cinnamon, and even a "menthol" like flavor. Tons of creamy white smoke enticed the people I was with to glance over and see what smelled so good. Draw was effortless, but not hot. In the end, this medium-bodied delight lasted an hour and I was sad to see the nub disappear into gray ash. This is a hyped cigar, which set my expectation level higher. It delivered. Not a headspinner, but you will feel some Vitamin N by the last 1/3. Bought 5 more. Well worth it.

Review Notes:
Just opened a SLB (Aug 04) that has been resting for a few months. No need to wait any further...the first few have been great. Creamy smoke. Wonderful Upmann flavor, with just enough moxie to get your attention and keep it. Good construction, perfect draw. Memorable butterscotch finish. Yum!

Review Notes:
Good burn, a little uneven at times but it managed to sort itself out. Lots of mild aromatic smoke from both ends, draws easily. Can smoke down to the nub with no bitterness. Mild nicotine hit.

Review Notes:
Got a box of these today and the anticipation could not have been greater, exceeded only by the delivery of the cigar's appearance and monumental flavor that started out strong and grew more complex. I realized soon the cigar nirvana that a fine Cuban delivers, I get it. You should too, this may be equaled but how can it be bettered?
An absolutely incredible 60 minutes down to the nub, as I first clipped the perfect three seam cap, then watched the oily, dark brown piece of perfection dwindle down till it burnt my fingers on the last, sad, final puff.

Review Notes:
This is truly the benchmark corona gorda. Remarkable young, unmatched when aged. Truly a spectacular habano.
