Review Notes:
It is nicely wrapped in cedar sleeve. The wrapper is silky and a little bit oily. Smooth cut, and good cap construction, but the cigar has some soft spots. It¡¦s easy to light. Smoke is mild-medium bodied, and it has a strong vegetable taste, with a light woody note, and a light¡K don¡¦t know what it is, but some kind of taste that I don¡¦t know how to describe it. It¡¦s not bad, it¡¦s just I¡¦ve never encountered this taste (neither in cigars, nor in food, so don¡¦t know what it is). I¡¦ve detected a very slight sweetness at the second third of the cigar. Burn is a bit uneven, draw is smooth, has a grayish-white ash with a light brown tan, firm, and not flaky. The cigar became soft and lumpy at the second half of the cigar. The cigar itself tastes sour. Hate to rest it on the tongue while smoking it, and it¡¦s a salty. Taste becomes harsh @ the last third of the cigar. Either the smoke became strong, or it has a strong peppery and bitter taste that I cannot tolerate. Maybe it took me too long to smoke 2 thirds of the cigar. I regret that I have to put it down. I thought H. Upmann makes good cigars, but if this is what the company means by a ¡§good¡¨ cigar, then it¡¦s not my kind of cigar. For 3 bucks, I rather buy something else.
