Review Notes: This H.U. shows off a slightly rustic, veiny, dark brown wrapper. Has a heavy, solid, but moist feel. Overall construction is an A+. Draw's a tad tight, but no problems getting plenty of smoke. Burn is as perfect as can be; razor sharp and even throughout. Not one touch-up or re-light necessary. Burned strong for the entire smoke with a long, finely layered light gray ash. Overall flavor profile is on the medium side, perhaps even mild for those use to strong maduros. However, pleasant notes of leather, nuts, cocoa powder and a touch of cut wood and spice are enjoyed. Although I typically enjoy a slightly fuller-bodied stick this is a flavorful and well constructed cigar.

Review Notes: I appear to be in the minority here. After getting one of these at a shop, I let it rest in a good, seasoned humi at 64-65%. Torched it after about four weeks. One word...boring. I couldn't get much flavor out of this at all. I finally ditched it 1/3 way into the cigar and dug back into the humi for something better.

Review Notes: I have a like for everything Upmann, and this cigar is no exception. Beatiful to look at and a dream to smoke. Upon lighting the aroma compelled me to slowly bring it to my lips. Upon taking a couple of small puffs, followed by a nice full draw, I immediately had the sensation of taking a drink of a nice medium roast coffee. The flavor lingured and remained pleasant as I anticipated my next draw. The sentiment remained as I slowly and methodically finished this cigar. Nice Nice Nice...from pre-start to start to middle to finish. If you want to ease into a slightly fuller bodied cigar..this is the way to go.

Review Notes: Having never submitted a review before of any kind, after smoking this cigar, I was compelled to sing it's praises. This cigar was nicely constructed, burned perfectly, held a nice tight ash and enough spice to keep me smoking it almost to the point of burning my finger tips. I liked this cigar so much that I bought a box. Enjoy!!!
