Review Notes: This is one of the first boxes I bought, and man, I picked it right. Solid in the hand, densely packed but easy drawing. Attractive wrapper, some veins/wrinkles, but with a nice reddish hue. Lots of flavor: some spice up front, some tangyness, then leather, cedar, cinnamon emerge. It's got some complexity and some power behind it. And it gets better over time. Mine have aged for only 6 mos, but I bet they'll be even better in 6 more, if they last that long. So I found me a cigar for under $50 a box that's well made, burns straight, and tastes great. The brand and the band won't impress your friends, unless you have the kind of friends who like good cigars for short money and don't care about impressing people. A strong buy.

Review Notes: I think I had a plugged one, but the flavor was there and it was kind of a shame I had to put it down early Creamy Cedar and a hint of leather with a little pepper on the finish, I will give it another shot.

Review Notes: This is one of my favorite cigars, regardless of price. The fact that it is 2 dollars(on special from JR) makes it even better. Nice reddish brown wrapper, perfect draw. Starts out spicey and as it smokes becomes oaky and leathery with the richness and slight sweetness of a maduro. Builds in strength past the halfway point. This is a real sensuous smoke, round and smooth. At the end it gets pretty strong but never harsh. I might buy another box or 2 before the special pricing ends. The best of the Henry Clay line.

Review Notes: I've smoked a lot of the Dominican HCs over the years, broadleaf and H2000. These are a rich and unique full-flavored incarnation. I like 'em!

Review Notes: This is definitely different than other Henry Clay offerings, at least in the flavor department. I found the flavors in this Honduran stick to be more robust than any of the other rather bland HCs that have come before. I do not know if I really "liked" the flavor, but I could see a market for this leathery smoke with more experienced and preferanced smokers. This one was very reasonable priced at 3.50 US dollars.
