Review Notes:
This is just what a cigar should be. Fair price, great construction, a handsome dark brown wrapper inside a cedar sleeve. A smooth, medium to full body of silky smoke, effortless draw, and tastes good. I picked up a 5 pack of these Hoyo Darks for $15 at auction. Packed with tobacco, slow even burn, and a white ash. Its a fat ring size, and a bit longer than a toro, almost Churchill length. A multitude of varying flavors, ranging from wood, to fruits, nuts, breads, coffee, and chocolate. Burns so nice and slow, the flavors vary at different burn points. About at the 2/3 burn point, becomes a rather straight forward tobacco flavored cigar, but still tasted good. So a warning for beginner smokers, you may only want to smoke these about half way, but it would be worth the effort, and you would still get your money's worth. I have a huge cigar collection, and really have no great need to purchase, but I will definitely keep an eye out for another 5 pack, and would buy a box if I see a nice sale. That's how impressed I am with this tasty treat. I very much recommend trying one.

Review Notes:
Picked up a couple singles on a recommendation earlier this evening; have now went and placed an order for 2 boxes.
All facets of construction and aesthetics are pure sex. Draw was a bit too firm but opened right up after 3/4".
Taste was complex, evolving and always out of this world delicious. Started with Coffee and Dark chocalate on a tobacco backdrop, evolved into milk chocolate / dark chocolate mix with unbelievable chewiness/mouth presence of the smoke. Notes of cedar, earth, coffee and oh-so-subtle sweetness from the dark wrapper evolved with every puff. It is the best tasting cigar I have ever smoked.
Warning: DO NOT RUSH THIS CIGAR.
If you rush it, you will be punished with bitterness barging in on the taste. I found that 1 (double-tap) draw per 45-60 seconds allowed me to retain the deliciousness with every iteration. Again, you CANNOT rush this cigar. It MUST be slowly savored or you will not enjoy it. If you smoke fast, slow down or you will be penalized, and will not enjoy the cigar.
My ONLY gripe was that the last 1.5" started to turn bitter, regardless of a couple purges and waiting longer between draws. Still, at 4.5$ a stick @ 6.5" long, I've no qualms about losing 1.5" for 5" of stratospheric pleasure.
This last-inch bitterness seems to be common to many dark/ligero-heavy cigars and I suspect this is not Hoyo's fault; but is just the nature of the beast. I've found the Sancho Panza finish in an identical bitter fashion.... shrug
Be careful of the power as well; it packs a significant punch. Yet another reason to slow down and savor.
This is the first cigar that's ever moved me to write a review, and while 10's across the board almost seems corny, it truly is representative of my relationship with this cigar.....

Review Notes:
Really enjoyed the Media Noche so I decided to try the big brother. A well constructed cigar that I ended up liking a tad more than the previously mentioned. Drew well and burned warm. The tastes were a simple a little bit spicey with a very pleasing finish. A great value.

Review Notes:
This is a wonderful and widely under-rated cigar. It's not for the timid, but I've found them to be consistent, flavorful and a great value. Everything I'm looking for in a full-bodied cigar when I want something "hefty." They stand up to a good bourbon or single-malt, especially on a cool fall night around a campfire. The smoke is thick and rich, with flavors of oak and hints of chocolate, but mostly just good quality cigar tobacco. They aren't in the same league as an Opus X or VSG, but they don't cost as much, either, and dollar for dollar, these are a better value even if the others might be a slightly better smoke. Try a few and judge for yourself

Review Notes:
Nice spicey blast follwed by sweet creaminess and giving way to earthy wood and leather with hints of cocoa. Also a slight tanginess that really got my saliva glands going. Clean finish( if you take your time) and a nice toasty ending.
