Review Notes: I have smoked a couple more since my last review of this stick and I have found them to be inconsistent in both build and flavor. What a shame, since I really enjoyed the first one. My 2nd had an issue with tunneling and unraveling, and the 3rd was so plugged (even after I ran a draw poker thru it) that I gave up after the 1st 1". The flavors also were different from each other. The 2nd and 3rd were much more perfumey and floral, which isn't a bad thing necessarily if it is also balanced by some spice and a more robust flavor, but these were not. Oh, well. At least I got a bunch of flavorful "giveaway to moochers cigars" for my next BBQ. Too bad, I had such high hopes for these.

Review Notes: Been experimenting with NCs again and tried this stick on recommendation. Was turned off at first by the ISOM rip-off band, but was very pleasantly surprised with it! Slightly sweet, nutty, coffee, and hints of leathery flavors with a slightly floral bouquet of good, hearty tobacco. Burned nearly perfectly and I'm sure it'll only get better with time. Got a little harsh at the end, but that may also improve with time. Best part is the price: $100 + or - a few for a box of 25. For that price, I can afford to smoke till it starts to disagree with me and let it die without feeling guilty. I'm buying one tomorrow! This is my new "doing nothing, may as well have a smoke" smoke. Med bodied, highly recommended.

Review Notes: I like all the cigars in this line. this was nice and complex wood, spice, and sweet. higher end than the reg. hoyos but still a good priced stick. a departure from the old school hoyo. sampler priced

Review Notes: I didn't like these when they were first released but they have definitely improved. Sweet and nutty with a great aroma and long finish at a great price point. Recommended.

Review Notes: Nice press with a silky smooth wrapper. A really handsome stogie. Despite a perfect light, it canoed early. I needed to back off a bit to allow it to straighten out. Mostly woody first half, reminiscent of a Sancho Panza CT. Profile turns darker on the final third, with leather and coffee but also some tarry funk. On balance, it's a medium bodied stick that is average apart from looks.
