Review Notes: I received 5 of these in a Rocky Patel sampler that I purchased a couple of years ago. I was disappointed when I saw them not really knowing what they were. After smoking a couple of them I was pleasantly suprised at the robust flavor of this stick. I researched them and ordered a box for my humidor where they have been aging. They no longer look like box pressed cigars as the edges have relaxed and rounded out. The spiciness has diminished and the flavor has grown into a very full flavor with oakey, leathery overtones. A great everyday cigar that I would reccomend to anyone. I do note that they will tend to canoe or even go out around the halfway point and it requires some attention to keep it lit and burning properly.

Review Notes: Had a great flavor for such a reasonably priced cigar, but the burn was extremely uneven.

Review Notes: 81 days in the humi. This is my 3rd one of these and I must say they are a quite tasty, everyday maddie. Has a solid box-pressed shape. Cuts and lights easily. Has a pleasant woody/earthy pre-light aroma. Burns a bit unevenly requiring a few touch-ups but burns strong with lots of smoke. Has an easy, clean draw. Ash is a bit loose and flaky. Flavorful medium-bodied cigar with nice notes of oak, nuts, cocoa, leather and subtle spice. Remains smooth and easy smoking to the last inch. A great value for $1.50 smoke.

Review Notes: I'm not a R.P. guy but these I really like. They do tend to get bitter toward the last 2" mark but all in all , if you take your time and smoke a cigar as it should be smoked you'll love em!

Review Notes: in the box i tried the first of a five pack. Appearance was nice, oily sheen on maduro wrapper. Lit evenly, but first inch was uneven. I smoke slow, and the rest burned ok. Ash was black and gray and flaky. This cigar is a puzzler to me. I don't believe its a full bodied cigar, but unlike some other reviewers, i think it has a good bit of nicotine. Perhaps this is due to a box press containing more filler tobacco. The flavor is smooth all the way to the end, and i noted the same flinty back taste noted previously by smokehole. The flavor never builds to another level, but the flavor of the sweet maduro wrapper and the fairly strong filler blend is excellent nonetheless. Just a peg below the top-tier maduros but for the cost, highly recommended, especially for those with a taste for something a little different than the rest. will wait another six months or so and try another.
