Review Notes:There was alot I liked and didn't like. The burn and draw were impeccable, as with so many Rocky cigars. The smell of the burning smoke was very pleasant. The ash burnt white and cylindrical. However, the cigar was average looking and the flavor was almost non-existent. Smooth, but flat.

Review Notes:The wrapper is billed as a Sumatra grown in Ecuador. No problem there; Rocky really knows how to use Sumatra wrapper leaf. The wrapper is also supposed to be oily, but mine are very dry looking. Its construction is excellent anyway you slice it, resulting in a perfect burn and draw. The flavor is on the strong side of medium, and it's a nice flavor, but perhaps not as dynamic as some aficionados might prefer. It leans toward cedar with a little salt and a touch of white pepper that goes well with coffee and maybe tea as well. With body on the mild side of medium, I found the ITC 10th a good morning cigar.

Review Notes:There's little point to a newbie starting with a Rocky Patel Decade or even 1990 Anniversary stick. But, what we have here may be the perfect smoke for a newbie as it's supremely mild - and somewhat uninteresting.
If the ITC 10th Anniversary errs it's on the side of omission and not commission. I think when a smoker of a few years sees the Rocky Patel name combined with the words "10th Anniversary" he gets excited. Most of us expect a darker and more complex taste than what this stick delivers. That said, it is still a good smoke, a milder and more pedestrian one, but a good smoke nonetheless.
The wrapper is a nice medium brown with some veins. The light and draw is easy, providing ample smoke delivered and burning with an attractive light grey ash which hangs a bit reinforcing it's well made with a medium density. The taste is sweet with a cedar profile and just a hint of saltiness finishing quick and clean. No spice and not much, if any, of anything darker. It's mild, but I'd grab it over the Macanudo for a morning smoke.
This, for me, was a bit of disappointment initially, but in the context of a light bodied smoke it's not at all shabby. No ammonia or off tastes and I would not be ashamed to gift it - especially to a person I know is either a newbie or occasional smoker. Rocky makes better sticks and I'm sure he was aware of this when he profiled the blend, but if you don't have to have medium, heavy, or particularly complex this may be a fine choice.

Review Notes:This Rocky did not rock me. Just a ho-hum stick. Very tight draw and fair taste. Not worth the price tag.
