Review Notes:
I sat on this for a couple years. Its not that its bad, its just average. The burn needed some corrections, draw was fine. There was some mellow, coffee flavors with a touch of cocoa that came in at the 1/2 on top of dark, tobacco. In conclusion, save the scotch and have this with a soda.

Review Notes:
Yeah, well that's where I must have went wrong with these. I let them sit around too long. The most pleasure I got from my cheap 10-pack was last year when I used one to just bite on unlit while working and writing. Never had any outstanding redeeming quality when lit, any of them really. Burned uneven, mediocre taste, average looks. I’ve got one more. Contrary to opinion here I think I will let this one sit in the bottom of the humidor for a long while. It doesn’t take up much space.

Review Notes:
This is one of those cigars that don't do well aged. They lose most of their flavor. When they are fresh, they have a typical corojo peppery taste. After a few months they don't have hardly any taste that would lead you to believe you are smoking a corojo. I wouldn't buy more than a 5-pack.

Review Notes:
With time in the humidor, this cigar lost a lot of the punch I had seen previouosly. The overall flavor was dark coffee, but not much else all the way through. Still a good smoke, but loses a bit if you like strength.

Review Notes:
The cigar looked really great- dark expresso wrapper, few veins.
Upon lighting the cigar, about the first 1/4 was nice and spicy. Rich dark coffee with a good spice. The cigar then lost the spice and mellowed out with a good rich coffee, a hint of caramel (from the maduro wrapper), and a nice woody/earth undertone.
That continued until about the last 1/3 of the cigar when the vanilla disappeared, the spice returned, though muted.
The cigar initially burned very straight, for about a 1/4". then the cigar got all wopperjawed until about 1/2 into the smoke. The burn then evened out, but got uneven again about 1" from the end. It never got hot and had a medium smoke volume.
All in all a pleasant medium-full bodied cigar. No surprises, but worth the time spent to smoke it, anyway. I'd smoke another, but it wouldn't get as high as an everyday smoker I would buy regularly.
