Review Notes: Bought a bundle (20) of these from JR as part of my quest to find a great, inexpensive smoke. I've smoked three so far, and they seem to be pretty consistent. The trouble is that they are a little moist, which causes some burn trouble and stifles the flavor a bit. I'm leaving them out of the humi for a day or two in hopes to normalize them a little faster. They're a little bumpy in appearance, but the wrapper has a nice color and texture to it. Pre-light aroma is a little sharp; upon lighting their is some harshness, but this disappears within a few puffs. Overall good flavor with some decent complexity. Ash is medium gray and is quite flakey . The only real problem is the moistness. I'll let them chill out for a bit and see where that takes them. Regardless, for under $1.50 a piece, I'd say I'm quite satisfied.

Review Notes: Strange yet appealing hue to the wrapper of this bundle cigar. Crayola had a crayon when I younger, same color. I think It was 'burnt umber". Regardless; these cost about as much as pack of crayons, taste better and look much cooler hanging out of your mouth. I agree with everything ASHMAN said especially the flavour transistion. I'm still gonna rip the paper off like I did with the crayons and enjoy it to the nub.

Review Notes: Nice looking wrapper, so so burn, complex and flavorful smoke. The complexity is not necessarily by the puff, but by sections. Beginning strong and spicy and developing into a medium sweet, spice at half way. I would have preferred the opposite transition but you will enjoy both halves especially for the price. It's described as a maduro but doesn't taste like one until you near the end.

Review Notes: This is one good cigar! My boss, Gary Witt (gwitt1@ford.com), is a complete idiot, and he likes pipes and cigars. Probably the only redeeming quality about him. Nothing to do with this review, but I had to mention this. The cigar is good right from the time you leave their store. Towards the last 1/3, it starts to go out on you, so you have to constantly light it or puff on it continuously, but other than that, the flavor is wonderful. Good job JR Cigars, for once your Alternative is a decent Cigar!
