Review Notes: This cigar has a nice dark chocolate maduro wrapper with some veins and looks nice. Great length and ring gauge combo for me. Construction was good too. No serious burn issues. Flavor is akin to a shot of espresso. It's full bodied and strong, but not particularly flavorful or complex. Not bundle worthy for me but enjoyable nonetheless. Those who like that kind of flavor profile should try it as it is priced nicely. Credit to JR for giving customers a cigar with lots of value.

Review Notes: construction wasn't so hot. The cigar itself looks like a nice stick: dark brown and mottled. Pre-light taste was like that of a chocolate bar. The first few puffs reminded me of any number of H2000 and/or maduro sticks, which I generally don't like. However overall taste changed, which was earthy / sweet and fairly peppery. It didn't unravel, but it certainly didn't have a razor-sharp burn. For about 2/3s of the cigar, the burn was uneven - not terrible, but quite uneven. This eventually corrected itself. Because of the soft construction, I did notice some swelling of the cigar as it burned, the reaons for this (I presume) was because it was loosely packed. The ash was pretty average, silvery gray with a slight yellowish tinge here and there (though not due to the wrapper), and held on for about an inch, maybe inch-and-a-half. Lots of smoke, however, and it stayed lit. After the burn problem corrected itself, the thing burned steady until I was done. The aroma of the smoke had a distinct nutmeg aroma to it. I can honestly say that it paired very well with a nice, dark, malty beer. My only worry would be the construction on these and issues with swelling, but the flavor was the genuine surprise: I liked it.

Review Notes: In my first review of this cigar, I was pleasantly satisfied with this bargain of a smoke. I recently had another of my bundle two weeks into recieving them and wow! It has gotten 10 times better! The smoothness was amazing, with creamy nuance from after the first half inch to about the last two inches, in which the leaves reached a hotter temp to provide a toasty quality that was equally pleasant. A Great cigar.

Review Notes: This cigar has a beautiful, rich Sumatran wrapper that looks good enough to eat. The prelit tobacco aroma emits thoughts of edibility as well. I just had my first of the bundle. With a great draw, there is quite a spicy kick for about half an inch, then grows cooler. Just as I reached the 2nd third, I forgot for awhile that I wasn't smoking my favorite stick, an R & J Reserve Real Casino I Churchill, with that nice cream flavor that I love. The last third had some burn difficulties, requiring a relight. The cream flavor unfortunately did not return, giving way to a grittier, hotter flavor of spice. Don't smoke this on an empty stomach. An excellent smoke.

Review Notes: Solid maduro that will only get better with time. You would be hard pressed to find a better smoke for a buck fifty. Good body, flavor, burn and looks.
