Review Notes: I dont like reviewing cigars without having smoked at least 10 of them first, but i couldnt resist, seems alot of people on here review one smoke anyway. I smoked one and it was near perfect, i cant wait to smoke some after aging. CA was right about this one! I gave this cigar tens across the board to help boost its rating, it doesnt deserve anything below an 8. Id say its really a first tier smoke and Id give it a 8.9.

Review Notes: This fat, brick-shaped cigar has a dark and oily wrapper. The other cigars that I've tried in this line have smoked poorly, but happily the two of these that I tried smoked well: good draw producing a huge amount of smoke, nicely formed ash, and a mostly even burn that needs retouching only towards the end. Without having to worry about construction problems, I could concentrate on the taste, which was also pretty good: plenty of earth, spice, and cocoa flavors that have a chewy, mouth-coating texture. Medium-full in body with a nutty and tangy finish. No. 10 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2005.

Review Notes: After reading reviews on other sites and suggestion from buddies I gave this stick a try. Very inconsistent burn that needed correcting constantly and hard on the draw. On the positive side, it had good taste a nice wrapper and band. Have others will put them away and try at a later date.

Review Notes: I am a big fan of Nicaraguan wrapper cigars because of the taste. The Lopez Epi #1 was a big disappointment.Average construction and appearance, average start, poor burn-had to relight several times, average taste-noticed the slight ammonia odor mentioned before, rather strong finish. Have another to try, maybe this was a bad one.

Review Notes: Great Looking Cigar - Beautiful Band, Great feeling / looking wrapper, always a fan of the box press and solid... The smoke itself was relatively one dimensional, with a pretty good flavor, very typical cigar flavor... worth the $, would give another try, nothing to write home about, stick to Padrons...
