Review Notes: Pretty, very dark wrapper. Easy to light and maintains its burn without any work, but it burns quite unevenly and requires correction. Draw is medium-firm. Initial flavor screams of peat moss, but this quickly dies down in intensity and is joined by moderate spiciness and some earthy notes. Eventually the peat is replaced by a mild coffee flavor. The flavors are pleasant, but they are not nearly as strong as in other maduros, such as the CAO Brazilia, Macanudo Maduro and Partagas Black Label. The wrapper began to unravel about an inch into the smoke, and by the time I was 1/3 the way through cracks developed in the wrapper as well. About halfway through the smoke, the unraveling became severe, and the wrapper all but fell off. And then the binder began to unravel! The cigar fell apart right in front of my eyes! Up until that point the cigar was decent, but in the end there was a pile of tobacco for me to rate, not a cigar. I am disappointed...such poor construction!

Review Notes: Not sure what happened, but I got this stick in a Gurkha sampler and it was a little above average. After reading most of the reviews, I'm not sure what happened. It's not that this was a bad cigar it just didn't rock like the ones that were reviewed. The taste did have a couple of unpleasant notes. Maybe, I should have aged this cigar more than a couple of weeks or maybe I got a bad one. Next time I'll buy a couple and age them properly.

Review Notes: Meaty, chewy, yummy. Cocoa, earth, something floral. 2 years box time. I probably paid about $3.00. An all around pleasure to smoke.

Review Notes: Great looking cigar, thick toothy wrapper. Very easy draw, put out tons of smoke, the burn was excellent. Stayed cool until the last inch or two. Prelight flavor was of mocha & tobacco. First third, predominantly cocoa & earth, with a bitter spice on the back of the throat and a nice sweetness on the lips. Reminded me of an Oliva Special G Maduro. Picked up some chocolate midway, but the first flavors still held strong. Final third had it all. Medium finish that tasted mostly of coffee, unfortunately it also had an off-flavor like cooked vegetables. Medium/full body, mild strength (I was expecting more of a kick, never happened.) Got this in a trade, will likely pick-up some more if the price is right.

Review Notes: This is a decent cigar that looks great. For the price, I think this is a best buy. Hard to find in singles. Simple smooth flavor keeps it from getting bitter.
