"Nice mild smoke"

Review Notes: First 3rd started out great with earthiness, smoothness and overall very mild. 2nd third became more mild, some sweetness. Last third was leathery some coffee and a little ammonia. I had let them rest for 3 mos. Burn was even and ash grey-white. Ash didn't hold together as well as I would have hoped. The ash was long but not tight. Draw was easy and a little loose. Apperance is quite good, light wrapper some veins. Overall, decent mild smoke. The first third impressed me most. If you like mild this one is worth a try.

"A nice change-up smoke"

Review Notes: Darbarian and Mr. Surgery have this one about right. A nice smoke, and a superb choice for a newbie who wants to find out what the CTS flavor is all about. Build and draw are excellent. Uneventful for my tastes, however. A good change-of-pace at auction pricing, but not worth even half of MSRP.

Review Notes: I am a big fan of Avo cigars and when I read a review that compared these to Avo I couldn't resist. They really do have a similar flavor profile- very mild/medium, creamy, but distinct character. But what is even better is that I picked these up 12 of these at auction at about $3 a stick- now that is a great deal. If you do enjoy Avo cigars this may be a good cigar to check out if you want to save some money- at auction or sale price of course.

"Very fine, very mild"

Review Notes: I'm not a huge fan of mild smokes, but over time I've learned that very good cigars can be found in all strengths. Hansotia's Symphony (now the Gurkha Symphony) and Perdomo's Champagne Reserve are two cigars I consistently enjoy when I'm in the mood for something mild. (They are also good for that novice brother-in-law who is always begging a smoke at family get-togethers) As with so many cigars, sticking these in the back of your humidor for 6 months is a good idea. MSRP is silly for pretty much everything with the Gurkha or Hansotia name on it; fortunately CI offers up most of them pretty regularly at significantly lower prices. If you can pick these up at $3 or less you have a great value. Just recognize that the Symphony isn't designed to kick butt or overwhelm you with flavor. For that, look to the Hansotia Triple Ligero.
