Review Notes:
This review is for the Sumatra line. The flavor on this one was the main selling point, and is really the most important characteristic anyway, assuming the cigar is capable of burning to the end. This cigar provided a good amount of sweetness, and the construction was first rate. At over $9 from a B&M, I'm not sure the value was there, but I won't hold that against it.

Review Notes:
While I have to agree with the previous reviewers that the Maduro version is nothing to write home about, the Corojo is MUCH better. While the old school look is not the prettiest to look at, the cigars are well constructed and burn well (for the 12 that I've had). The wrapper has a noticable sweet smell of cinnamon/brown sugar, almonds and possibily raisins. The aroma is just a sweet and inviting, and the wrapper is almost sweet to the taste. The flavor is slightly spicy and leathery, with hint of saltiness, and a real presence of that almond/raisin sweetness, which remains on the palate. I wouldn't describe the experience as complex, but is good from start to finish. I would have to say the this cigar is on the stronger side of medium bodied--and pairs very well with a spicy dinner. As a regular cuban cigar smoker, will you confuse this with a good cuban (while some of my friends have), probably not. But, do I really look forward to smoking them--YES! And I will be smoking a churchill this evening! Forget the maduro and give the Corojo a try--I've yet to have someone tell me they didn't enjoy it!! P.S. I not in the cigar business in anyway, shape or form.

Review Notes:
I had much the same experience as Ryan Z. Gifted from a friend. Maduro. Excellent construction, burned wonderfully. It just had no interesting flavor. Mine stayed average all the way through. Nonetheless, it was a nice night in the summer with a stogie in my hand and a tumbler of port and the stars poking in and out from behind the clouds.

Review Notes:
I tried the maduro version of this cigar. It was a gift from a friend. Local shop said it was similar to the Ashton Aged Maduro that I love, so I tried it. Started out chocolate and sweet, exactly like the Ashton, however, it then turned flat. About an inch in it literally had no taste. I actually lost interest in this cigar.
