Review Notes: I got one of these as a COTM selection and a after a few weeks I decided to give it a try. At first glance it looked nice until I noticed a little patch of wrapper. I have never seen a patch before and wondered if it would hold up. Anyway I had serious burn issues with this stick but the flavor was very nice. Complex but relatively the same. Depite the burn issues I thought this tasted good enough to eventually try a five pack- probably in another size.

Review Notes: The construction is pretty good and the appearance is quite nice, but it does not taste good, more or less like cardboard. I've had it in the humi for a month(I know, not long), but if it were a decent cigar, it wouldn't taste like junk that young. Lots of smoke and that smelled funky too. There are much better cheap cigars, like the 5 Vegas and a few others.

Review Notes: I had smoked 3 of these and recalled really liking them. The other day, as I was rumaging through the humidor looking for the evening's smoke, I saw another one of these beautifully wrapped cigars, and realized that on each of the previous occassions I'd smoked this cigar, I had been drinking heavily. So... I thought I'd give this cigar an honest try. Unfortunately, this stick is far better when your senses are confused by booze. The best thing I can say about this cigar is that it is really a great looking stick. The La Aroma de Cuba bands are probably the most attractive out there, and the wrapper on this thing was oily and dark. But there just isn't anything positive I can say from there on out. The flavor was bland and stale, and I had all sorts of burn problems. When this cigar went out on me for the third time with about 1/4 of the smoke left, I gave up and tossed it in the ashtray. Lesson learned: only smoke this cigar when you're hammered.

Review Notes: I've had a couple of these in my humi for the past few weeks. Looking forward to smoking 'em because they look pretty good. First few draws weren't very pleasant...acrid taste and loose. But hey, I'm enjoyin the weather takin my dog for a walk...livin the dream! The taste got SLIGHTLY better. Okay, here we go boys. Sorry, but this thing was a nightmare. I should have seen it coming just by the sheer ugliness of the ash. Burn was uneven. Taste was blah. It finally put itself out of our misery after the first 1/3 despite my best efforts. I guarantee you, Winston Churchill didn't smoke any crap like this. Dog was happy...he got a walk.

Review Notes: Subjectively the most attractive band on the market. Of course that isn't why I buy a lot of them. It has to do with the spicy kick and overall smoking pleasure. I agree with Red Badge that they don't change much with age, but that's just fine with me. Very rarely do I get a bad burn. Price is in line with the quality (usually $3).
