Review Notes: I was complaining about not being able to get afull-smoking experience from a small cigar while at a B&M when a man pointed to his "2 for the price of 1 as is" basket, specifically this cigar. Delicious and interesting and a long smoke from a small cigar. Wow! Unfortunately, hard to keep lit. I thought because it was in the 2 for 1 bin; however, others that I bought later have had some construction problems also. I hope La Aurora can fix this in future manufacturing.

"An OK smoke"

Review Notes: Typically i prefer cigars that are raw, sharp and zesty i.e.: Edge, Camacho Corojo, etc. After reading about the 1495 line up I prepared myself for a powerful cigar but, alas, it didn't quite turn out that way. Don't get me wrong, the 1495 is great smoke, full bodied but not up front with its flavor. It starts with a light touch of pepper but then that goes away and at that point, a nice woody and somewhat tangy flavor takes over steadily building strength until the finish. I wouldn't consider the 1495 an "ultra-premium" but it is definitely a better grade of cigar than what I usually smoke. I'm not going to run out an buy a box but I will certainly give them another try eventually.

Review Notes: For some reason this reminded me of a pepin cigar, but it could be because i base my idea of a cigar off of what he creates. This doesn't have that pepin spice, but it displays its own unique flavor that is hard to come by. i made this cigar last a while, which kept it from becoming hot. In doing this i could taste the flavor as if i was just into the bodied on every puff. This cigar lasted me close to two hours, supprising for this size smoke. Very nice blend.

Review Notes: I picked up a box of these and was immediately impressed with the whole presentation- cool box! But that's not why I smoke cigars, so looking at the wrapper- a beautiful, slightly oily dark brown wrapper, beautifully crafted cigar. After an easy clip, I noted that the cigar draw was a bit tight, but not to the point of being bothersome. Personally, I would rather have a cigar like this be on the tighter side then way too loose. Upon lighting it I was hit with a lot more smoke then I was expecting- wow! I can see that this cigar needed some humidor time for me. I'm not the best cigar reviewer, but I could sense there were a lot of complexity in this little cigar that, with age, will blossom into a really special smoke. With a smaller ring gauge cigar such as this corona, the wrapper leaf flavor really comes through- which is nice. Hints of leather and some others that I can't quite put my finger on yet (sorry!). I'm going to come back to this in 6 months and do another review. Definately a full flavor cigar!

"Not as good as the others"

Review Notes: This cigar is definatly not as good as the cien anos, or the preferidos. But for $6.00, you can't go wrong. It burned perfectly, and had a strong flavor throughout. Still yet to try the churchill, and the torpedo. Hoping for a better result.
