Review Notes: This cigar smacked me in the face from the very first puff. The construction was very good with the last inch going out and refusing to stay lit. I like to smoke my cigars down to the nub, so this was a bit annoying. For me this cigar was very strong with a sweetness to it, and quite complex with flavors that are hard to define, probably attributed to barrel aging. I really enjoyed this cigar, it is a very unique smoking experiance.

Review Notes: It may not rank up with all the other La Aura lines, but this cigar is still better than most. It won't blow you away, and it had some burn difficulties, but the flavor is still awesome.

Review Notes: I was not as patient as smokehole. The wrapper would not burn at all. It burned down the middle of the gar. I gave up after trying to light it several times. It was properly humidified for over a month. I have one more that I will try later on. Flavor was awful, but that was probably due to burn issue.

Review Notes: I've been waiting a long time to finally smoke this cigar, so when I finally got a couple at a reasonable price I was ready. I gave them about four months in humidor, proud of my patience. Then reality set in, I almost tossed this stick after the first inch. The taste was bitter and the burn was bad. However, my patience was rewarded with a nice tangy taste that in the theme of barreled aged, I can only discribe as pickle(as in dill pickle). Later the taste became earthy and there was the flavor of charcoal. There was a good deal of complexity for a 5 inch cigar. My biggest beef was the construction, this cigar would not stay lit. Finally after it going out or nearly so I timed it. The La Aurora Barrel aged robusto couldn't make it 30 seconds. It felt like I was going through a lighter on just this one cigar. This terrible burn ruined a good deal of the overall enjoyment. Let me state, it had been properly humidified. I'll let the other one sleep until spring and give it a try.

Review Notes: Decent flavor, good draw resulting in large volume of smoke, overall not bad but for the $5.50 I spent, I know I could do better.
