Review Notes:
I'd been saving these for a special occassion, and broke one out yesterday for Super Bowl Sunday. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a horrible cigar; but it's far from worth the going MSRP. I am a cameroon fan, and I would advise any other lovers to stick with anything Fuente with a Cammy wrapper, the CAO CX2, or for about the same money, a Partagas Decades selection. Back to the cigar at hand, the construction was great on these, as it burned evenly throughout. Perhaps my only critique would be that the draw was slightly tight, and I didn't get as much smoke from it as I would have hoped to. The flavor was really lacking, however. Simply put, it was somewhat bland. No spice, no sweetness, just blah. Not bad, but not too good either, and for the price these guys run, I would expect more. I won these on auction, so I don't feel too cheated, but if I had paid retail, I'd be really ticked. My understanding is that some of the other Preferidos are superior to these Cammy's, and I'd advise anyone wanting to try this line to go with one of those.
