"Coolest Tampon Tube Ever"

Review Notes: The cameroon comes in a silver spaceship tubo that could be used to make homegrown UFO documentaries. The cigar itself is also beautiful; no veins, perfect draw, and has a perfect burn. I didn't get much flavor that really worked for me, though, mostly woody and dry flavors, spicy and a tad bitter. Having recently tried out the Licencianado cammy perfecto at $3 per stick, I won't be buying any more of these La Auroras, though I do love lots of other La Auroras, like the 1495 and the Preferido Robusto...

Review Notes: I like the packaging, I like the pre-light, I like the feel. I don't like the price and I find the flavor to be just a bit above average and hardly average for the 10 bucks+ these cost in a B&M. Not my cigar....not even my La Aurora.

"Real good smoke at $4-5 a stick"

Review Notes: CrazyFool hit the nail on the head when he compared this to the AF Hemingway Short Story. The only problem is that the Short Story is a slightly superior smoke at a much lower MSRP. That said, this is still a fine Cammy, which I initially found to be sweet and nutty, before managing to fit in a woody finish, despite its small stature. One thing that really amazed me about this cigar was how smooth it remained even until it was literally burning my fingers; never did the smoke burn my tongue. This little sucker did burn ever so slightly uneven at times, but always corrected itself and even survived a clumsy drop to the floor at one point (this cigar is so small and light compared to what I normally smoke that it does feel a bit odd in the hand). I liked this nicely rolled perfecto, but, again, the MSRP is way off when there are so many cammies out there that are just as good or better. I got mine on CBid in a special 6 cigar sampler that contained two of each size in the Preferidos Cammy line, all for $41, so I'm going to say I paid $6. I think $4-5 is a more reasonable price for these, and the $8 most others claim having paid, though less than MSRP, is still far more than this little vitola is worth.

Review Notes: Rivaling the Fuente Hemmingway BestSeller or Short Story, this smoke was a oily in apperance and for a 20 min smoke it opens up nice, climaxes breifly into a cedary creamy treat and the bows out gracefully. all 4 of mine went without a hitch and i found them to be very good, the no. 3 is the perfect on the go size.

"Not impressed"

Review Notes: Seems to me like too often, the higher priced cigars are often the worst. This cigar has got its major problem and that's the taste. Pretty sour and bitter. It's pretty bad. Hard to describe, but it's not what a cigar should taste like. I have tried over 100 brands of cigars. It was in fine condition when I lit it up so there was no storage problem that might have ruined it. I expected a lot more for $10. The burn and construction are great, the cigar itself looks really neat, but they dropped the ball on the filler. This one goes down in the books along with the Graycliff G2 and Cohiba DR as my most disliked cigars ever tried. I would say only a die hard collector might want to try it, but I won't be buying any more of these.
