This is great mild smoke, with a nice draw and a solid burn. You can tell its a quality cigar, but is it worth $20...no. The taste did not blow me away. So when I can justify getting an even better tasting mild stick for about 4 bucks, I can't see buying any more of these.

This is my go-to daytime stick. I love Double Perfectos, I love them in 5" and I love Conn Shade. If you have any of the same interests you'll love this, too. This stick is a great mild, but satisfying smoke.
I find this to be a more complex style of mild that is slightly sophisticted in how it's flavors develop. If you want a stick you can light and forget about, that looks good, is easy to manage and enjoyable the entire way through this is a good bet. Especailly good for daytime, golf, etc.
It can be viewed as slightly one-dimensional, but it is also subtle in it's development and keep in mind it is a shorter smoke. I haven't seemed to end up with the bitter flavors that some have reported and have actually found the opposite - Very mellow.
The price isn't great, but the experience has always overcome it for me. Construction and wrapper are great, but again, I always find Double perfecto to have a slightly uneven burn, but not one that ditracts from the smoke or even needs to be touched up.

I wish they'd spent less on the tube and more on the cigar. Wait a minute, I wished they'd just made the cigar taste better as I really like the tube. I have to agree with the review of "AZ" back in 11/11/05, leaving the case around only shows how stupid you were for paying way too much for an average tasting cigar with a bit of bitterness to it.

Review Notes:
Another good looking and well constructed perfecto from La Aurora. Flavor developed very nicely after a not so impressive start. Having tried the 5 perfectos in this line I'd go for the robusto again just because of the value.
