"What are you smoking?"

Review Notes: I have been smoking cigars for some 20 years now, and I have rarely enjoyed a better cigar. First, keep in mind that these cigars have been discontinued for years, and can be difficult to find. These cigars are availaible in celephane bundles and corked glass tubes. The glass tube variety was always the better choice while they were in production, as they held the cognac flavor better. The now 10-year aged La Diva's should only be available in the celephane packs, as they breath better in the humidors. The natural wrapper should tip any afficionado to its mild flavor, as opposed to the strong aroma, this confusion of the senses is the most typical reason for lower ratings. Construction and appearance has always been consistent and pure, with a solid cognac aroma for the properly stored cigar. The roll is consistent throughout and typically withstands a slightly greater variant in humidity and temperature for burn consistency and wrap tightness. I prefer to enjoy this sweet, creamy and smooth cigar with a fine port. Do not make the mistake of pairing this with a cognac, as that will only downplay the fine qualities of this infused cigar. I used to buy these for $6-$8 when they were in production, though I recently acquired some for $2 each that have been properly stored and retain the qualities that I remember.

"Improved with Age (lots of age)"

Review Notes: A cognac infused cigar that no one, including myself has reviewed in three years. I fished this one out of my third-string humidor. Almost all of the sticks in there are at least two years old, most, (including this one) are closer to 3-5 years. The age must have helped a bit, it doesn't exactly taste or smell like conac now, but it does have a sweet taste that is not unpleasant. I just don't think you should have to wait three plus years for average flavor? This is probably the last one, but it's a giant humidor, so who knows.

Review Notes: I have bought about 60-70 of these sticks at average of a buck apiece and let them age a year or more now. I disagree with most reviewers here. These are very well made cigars, long inch+ ash, creamy and smooth. You have to pair it with somethimg that goes with flavor, but when you do for a buck each - come on you cannot go wrong!!! I would not pay $4 or $5 let alone $10 but a a dollar each they are a well made, good smokig steal.

"A Waste of Cognac"

Review Notes: I have to agree, with a comment listed with the robusto. Do yourself a favor, just drink the conac instead, preferably with a better cigar. I could distictly smell the cognac at the beginning, but no cognac taste and the aroma faded also. Turned out to be a very average cigar at best!
