Review Notes: These were good out of the box. However, after a short time in the humidor, they became very moist, absorbing far too much moisture considering the 65% RH and distant proximity to the humidifyer. Keep these dry boxed and you may get the benifit of a solid cigar with nutty flavors rather than a spnge that tates like...a sponge.

Review Notes: I ran through a couple boxes of the coronas a few years ago and thought they were wonderful. Sure, a couple were plugged, but the overall flavor and quality, not to mention the price made that easy to overlook. Then, horror of horrors, I stopped smoking for a few years and after I came to my senses and was interested in cigars again, I read some La Finca reviews. Most of them indicated that these sticks just weren't what they used to be, so I went with some other pretty faces that were a lot more expensive. Well, I finally got up the nerve to splurge on La Finca again and they are still great! That wonderful flavor is still there, and to me, these are good right out of the box without any time in 'dor. But what has been said about aging is very true. Leave these babies to rest for awhile and in my humble opinion you have something to give a Cuban a run for it's money!

Review Notes: I've smoked all five I got over about the course of a month. This is, by far, the worst hand-made I've ever smoked. It burns VERY unevenly and HOT. It has a sour, acrid flavor and a very ammonia-like aroma. It also draws very erratically. Yes, it is a good-looking cigar, but the whole affair stops there.

Review Notes: A strong, flavorful, aromatic and good looking stick. What else could you ask for when you get 25 5x54 Robustos in a great looking quality box for less than $40? I have been enjoying La Finca's product for years, and this is by far my favorite. Good draw and lots of smoke. A few from my last box would go out too quick or develop a funky looking foot, but nothing too bad. I smoke lots of La Aroma Cubana "Inmensas", which make your head spin, and these Fincas do not fall short of that cigar at all. A very dark maduro wrapper, a little veiny and bumpy, but it gives the cigar great character and flavor. Try them. If you like your cigars to make you feel like you just ran up 5 floors, you'll love these.

Review Notes: This is cigar has beuatiful dark Maduro wrapper and with its thickness, looks macho and robust. I am about halfway through my first box and these cigars just keep getting better and better, I have had them in humi for almost three months now and the have benefited greatly by becoming more mellow and smooth. The initial first puffs are kind of harsh and acidic, but after a few minutes the cigar heats up and really settles down nicely. You get volumes upon volumes of thick blue, brown, gray smoke from this cigar. The flavor is very peppery and spicy with very subtle hints of cocoa and coffee. It get's better and better the longer you smoke it, I smoke'em down till it gets to hot to hold. The ash is grayish white and holds on for at least an inch. I have never had one of these gars Unravvel on me, canoe or have I had any other construction or burn issues with these cigars. I can't say this about many other brands 2-4 times the price of La Finca. I got mine for $35 a box which I beleive is a great bargain price for an excellent Cigar. I just started seriously getting into cigars about a year ago, and by chance the first box I ordered randomly with no research was a box of La Finca Robusto Blacks. Rememebering how much I enjoyed those, prompted me to try the 54's.....which are even better.
