Review Notes: This IS the go to Robusto, especially the Maduro. I smoked one last night and hated the fact that I had to put it out. A sweet smoke that has a interesting and complex personality for a cigar in this range.

Review Notes: I just read the previos post and must say that I can disagree more with it. This is a great robusto, with a oily dark wrapper and exellent craftmanship. My sample are 2 years and are just awsome.

Review Notes: This beautiful cigar belied a terrible smoke. The dark maduro wrapper was oily and tempting, however the taste was dry and woody with grassy overtones throughout. The flavor reminded me of the cheapo "horse dung" cigars my grandpa used to smoke. I was gravely disappointed. That said, the other posts in this forum tend to be favorable, so once my memory fades, I'll tentatively try another. Hopefully I just picked the bad apple the first time.

Review Notes: One of the go to robustos in my humidor. This stick has a good draw and nice notes, with heavy leather and earth. The foot lit well and held a nice salt and pepper ash. A good all around smoke.

Review Notes: Excellent value if you like the typical Partagas "stinky stogie" flavor. If they could tame down the tarry overtones, the underlying flavor and complexity would be outstanding. But the tar overpowers everything else, leaving a one-dimensionally strong and semi-pleasant 40 minute smoke. Medium-to-full bodied.
