Review Notes:
I was given a couple of these in a trade, and didn't know anything about the brand. I wasn't expecting much after the pre-light draw was pretty average tobacco flavor. What a nice suprise when I began smoking it. Mild, but full of almond and cocoa flavor. Perfect burn with a nice easy draw, and loads of smoke. This one had been sitting in my friend's humidor for a while, and then in mine for another month or so, so I guess I had a better experience than some of the previous raters. I'd like to put a few of these away now and see if they get even better with time.

Review Notes:
Forgiving draw that creates alot of thick smoke. Toothy, toasty, with hints of almond. Nice looking wrapper that finishes smooth.

Review Notes:
Was glad to read the review by BrassMonkey before writing mine as I hate to judge a cigar on my first experience with a young smoke. I will say this, it was VERY smooth and creamy. However, there was no depth of flavor or changing tastes as you smoked this stick. Based on the incredible smoothness I will reserve judgement and let them rest, maybe even buy more at this pirce its a low risk and potential high reward proposition.

Review Notes:
This cigar was wonderfully teriffic. The reason why there are some people rating this cigar low is most likely because they did not age this in the humidor. This one definitely needs 2-4 months in the humidor. I bought several of these to try due to the ratings in CA. The first one I tried I did not like and if I had rated it right after I purchased, it would have had a 5-6 score. But, after aging these about 3 months, man what a huge difference. I had another one yesterday thinking that I was not going to like it, well one of the best cigars I have had in a long time. Construction was superb giving way to a lush draw and voluminous billows of smoke. The taste was similar to a LGC Series R, but much better and more chocolatey. This was simply awesome. A mild cigar with a wonderful chocolate/coffee/espresso frame with a subtle caramel taste from time to time. Occasional spice notes were noticed-more towards the end. I almost couldn't put this down. To be honest, I thought that this is what a DC Maximus would/should taste like, but these are way better and 1/4 the cost. To those who have had a bad experience with this one, please, give it 3 months in the Humi and you will be very surprised by the metamorphasis, I was.

Review Notes:
The light and the first inch showed great promise, with a nice robust leathery flavor with hints of nuttiness and no bite. Unfortunately after the first inch it turned harsher and more disgusting than your average Macanudo. Considering the other reviews, it seems they have a serious consistency problem, as if this had kept on after the first inch I would have probably rated it an 8.5 overall. Too bad. Not recommended. There are tons of consistently good cigars in the $4 range.
