"Change is a good thing."

Review Notes: They started selling these off a year or two ago and I considered them an average smoke for cheap. Searching for my morning smoke I ran across another Red Velvet. Man what a change. If DE was looking for a real cigar with multi-dimensional flavors they should have waited for a couple of more years to release this one. Opening with a strong coffee flavor it seemed the same as I remembered but after an inch or so it began to develop flavors and complexity I have not experienced before. Notes of sweet spices, cherry, coffee, and creamy cocoa develop toward the second third and become more prominent. I am very surprized and pleased and if the others I have are this good I only hope I can find a box of these mild mannered delicious cigars. I can't think of any thing bad to say except they do require some touch ups and look a little rustic.

"NICE"

Review Notes: These were decent when I got them at the end of last year, but 5-6 months later...sitting in that bed of tobacco....these have become NICE!!!! Sweet flavor on the draw, cocoa/coffee on the exhale, and rich "carmel" on the finish. Dark, rich aroma. Everything a good Maduro should be!

"Forgot about 'em."

Review Notes: I found a deal on a fiver a while back and lost track of them until today. The flavor doesn't develop too much until the second half. The first half builds from a mild/medium straight forward flavor to a sweeter and better taste in the second half. Approaching the 4 inch mark some licorice joins the sweetness and the body reaches a spicy medium body. Not bad for less than $1.50.

"Nice Mild Stick"

Review Notes: Pre-light aroma was that of cedar and leather. I toasted and torched her up. My humidor is set at 65% and I feel that was perfect for this stick. The first inch did not produce all the flavor that I expected from such a dark oily beauty; however, it started to develop as I got into it. The ash was very white and smoke volume was decent. Notes of floral and apricot started to tap-dance on my tongue. Further into my smoke a little spice started to develop. The last half of cigar the flavors changed to oatmeal and honey. For such a light/mild smoke this stick has some different flavors.

Review Notes: Draw was a little lose. And the cigar just wasn't pretty, and dry looking. But, it turned out pretty darn good. A solid 8
