Review Notes: I bought a 5'er on an auction site 9 months ago, and they've been in my humi ever since, so i decided to light one up last night with a glass of Aruban rum. I used my torch and it lit up with no hesitation. Peppery at first, but it began to smooth out a bit with cedar, earth, and light pepper notes. Flavor didn't change much throughout, just very consistent. Great draw, and very sharp burn. Good amount of smoke. Never hinted at going out. Ash lasted about 1". Definitely recommended!

Used my torch lighter and it lit up with no hesitation. Started out peppery, and smoothed out about 1/3 of the way in. Picked up some cedar, earthy, light spice notes throughout. Flavor didn't change much, but at 2/3rds it became a bit more pronounced. Burn was extremely consistent, and great draw throughout. Definitely recommended!

Review Notes: I rested my box of DPG Legends in my locker at the local shop's humidor for about 8 or 9 months. After smoking 3 or 4 I have good news. These are very nice cigars, and I expect them to continue to improve in my humidor. Chubby sticks that are packed full of tobacco but draw like a champ and burn like a super-premium. Typical DPG flavors of sweet, spicy corojo with some pepper, but not too much.

Review Notes: I've smoked several of DPG brands and enjoyed this one very much. Bought them on "special" and the price was right. Chunky shaped; medium-medium full in body; great draw; slow and cool burn; peppery to start mellowing out as it burns down. A great value for the price and quality that you get. Highly recommended.

Review Notes: I'm having a hard time understanding the whiners who complain it's not a blue label cigar at half the price. No, it's not. It's more of a blue-light; not quite the fullness, not quite as rich, not as complex. But hey, it's got the DPG hallmarks at an everyday kind of price. What's not to love about that? If you're made of money buy the San Cristobals, the Cabaiguans and the Tatuajes - I'm happy for you. Heck, I wish I could be you. But I'm glad folks like Don Pepin put out something for the little people too.
