Review Notes: I won a fiver of these on auction and they have been sitting for about a month and a half. I had some free time and the weather is perfect out right now so I figured it was time. Wrapper was light and smooth with some small veins running through it. Typical Pepin Cuban style triple cap on it that cut perfectly. Opened up with classic Don Pep pepper and spice overload that singes the nose hairs right outta your head. After that it settled down and showed some cedar and earth notes with subtle sweetness on the finish. At the 1/2 way point things changed and became more straight forward with earth and basic tobacco flavor. Burn was near perfect as was the draw. The cigar produced clouds of smoke which I always like to see. Lets you know your smoking a cigar, ya know? At about two inches left it tunneled slightly and put itself out. I debated whether to re-light since the flavor had started to get a little harsh but I did it anyway. Smoked about another inch then finally set it down for good. Overall, this isn't the greatest Pepin offering, the Padilla 32's and San Cristobal's are a more solid blend in my opinion but for the $3 something bucks you're gonna pay this cigar can't be beat. Definitely a recommendation in my book.

Review Notes: Simply put: If you are looking for the typical Pepin flavor profile found in DPG, the Tat lines, Padilla 8 & 11, and Troya Clasico, yet not as pronounced but 1/2 to 1/3 the price, look no further. Every stick I have burnt exhibited great draw and construction, typical Pepin pepper, earth, and wood, nice complexity, and solid, clean finish. Amazed at how much leaf is crammed inside this stick, with no soft spots or stems. Look, Pepin is really the only thing I burn, and being a Pepin whore can become expensive, especially 2-3 per day. $70.00 for a box of 20, which I feel is WAY underpriced for what could be charged. Much better then value priced Tat P series or JPG Fumadores.

Review Notes: For the price (especially on auction) these can't be beat. The construction is spot on and the stick itself has some serious weight. The flavor changes 3 times during the course of the smoke which makes this really exciting to smoke...down to the nub.

Review Notes: I'd never smoked a Don Pepin Garcia before and if this cigar is an example, I'll be looking to make numerous purchases. The flavor was about as complex as you can ask for at $3.50 a pop. At first this stick was spicy and strong, then it changed to something like a grape-wine-bubblegum type of taste that was really good. Toward the end it mellowed to hints of nutmeg and cream. It looked good and the burn was even better.

Review Notes: I am new to Pepin cigars, so I can not compare to other offerings. But...I really enjoy this cigar. Loads of creamy white smoke. Loads of flavor. Smooth as can be. Constructed very well. You'll be hard pressed to find a better cigar for the price.
