Review Notes: This smoke didn't impress me that much, i've smoked a few now and there toasy and nutty and on the rich side. The construction was very good and the burn was also. It has a nice draw and and a good ash. Taste kind of like the Achilles line to me. Good smoke, just not impressive

Review Notes: Questionable construction: there were sizable stems visible when I clipped the head, and the foot cracked when I lit it. An uneven burn didn't help matters. But the flavor was straight up Pepin: It starts out with the expected blast of pepper (though not as strong as the Achilles or the heavier bodied Cigar King blends) and mellows into a somewhat tannic, woody cigar with overtones of cocoa and a semi-sweet aroma. A fantastic corojo wrapper, as usual. Not as complex as the top shelf brands from El Rey de Los Habanos, but a good intro to Pepin if you're not ready to shell out the big bucks.

Review Notes: I have tried the Matasa, the Camacho, and the Perdomoat less than 2 bucks a stick, but the Don pepin at under $60 a box is one of the best deals going. I couldn't resist smoking after two days out of the box and immediately bid on and won two more boxes. These are reminscent of the Achilles, on steroids, with similar flavor, but much, much stronger. Since I have three boxes I can tell you, buy these and age them. You won't find a better $3 cigar.

Review Notes: Far and away the best Legends entry to date. I think of this as a chunkier Padilla Achilles. To my eye, the wrapper looks ever-so-slightly green, but that's about the only criticism I can muster. It takes a little while to open up, but shares the Achilles flavor profile with a fuller draw thanks to its 54 ring gauge. By halfway, it's chewy, nutty and rich while never getting up in your grill, making it a good companion to morning coffee. Everything about the Yellow Label is first rate -- look, consistency of build, flavor and value. If I were to have an everyday smoke, this would probably be it.
