Review Notes:
I've smoked 2 or 3 of the legends, and I liked them all, good quality cigars. The Matasa starts out quite mild, a dry almost charcoal flavor, then quickly gets stronger and shows some leather and spice. Const. was good, with the draw a bit tight. I think the cigar was a bit over humidified, I will dry-box the next one, which should help.I really enjoyed this smoke, it stayed busy enough to keep me interested with its changing flavors. I got these at auction for $35.00, well worth the coin.

Review Notes:
This is another great cigar from the legends series , I found it to smoke very nice with excellent flavors and appearance, I was unsure at first if I liked it but after the halfway point I knew it was another good cigar from CI.
Although this is my first Matasa cigar I think I enjoyed it enough that I will buy more of them.

Review Notes:
Cigars are often like people, you appreciate it when they are genuine and not afraid to be who they are. The Legend Series Blue Label is like that. I haven't smoked that many Matasa cigars, but I enjoyed this one. It started out strong and distinctive, in fact for the first inch or two I couldn't decide if I liked it. Then, the power toned down a bit to a more medium, but flavorful cigar. This blue label finished up past the band with the bold flavor of the first couple of inches. Several reviewer found this a mild smoke, which surprises me, as I found it strong at the ends and medium flavored in the middle. The Matasa Legend didn't have any construction problems until the last third and those were nothing major. This stick had only mellowed a couple of weeks in my humidor, so I'd like to know what 6 months would do for it.

Review Notes:
Most of the reviews here seem negative but for some reason this one really caught my interest. I only had one, from a CI sampler, so maybe that was a fluke. However, I really enjoyed the flavor; good at light-up, dropped off a lot, but picked up again mid-smoke and I took it to a nub. Will definitely smoke again.

Review Notes:
The one I had looked like dried dog turd. I guess keeping it in low 60 humidity didn't agree with it much. Flavor started off with a spicy, woodsy tobacco taste that stayed through out. There was some background grassiness that kept jumping in and out. Some called it aromatic or clove. Whatever it was, I'm not a big fan. Definitely not the worst of the Legends series, but the grassy taste will keep me away.
