Review Notes: I won this box about 6-8 months ago and put them in the bottom of my humidor while I smoked a box of CI Legends by DP Garcia and other stuff. They've really come into their own with deep, semi-sweet flavors, perhaps vanilla and an interesting sweet spice on the finish, not completely unlike RP Decades. They've all burned perfectly so far, slow and even. I've found they, like most all cigars but particularly these, need to be smoked slowly and not pushed or they'll become bitter. If you're patient and age them some and smoke them so they don't get too hot these are really fine smokes. On the down side the ash can be a little flaky, not unlike some Decades I've smoked. CI calls them medium bodied and I can't disagree. If you're the patient type and like that dark Sumatran wrapper found on the Decade you will probably like these. I don't mean to say these are Decades or as good as Decades, but there are some similarities I think. Anyway, they are a good deal and the cigars from this box have been really good. I'd buy them again, for sure.

Review Notes: I got a box off of the bid site for $43. I'm now trying to buy a few more to add to my everyday smoking stock. Nice draw, decent flavor, creamy smoke. Not the best RP, but very nice for the price.

Review Notes: Reddish-brown wrapper, dry-not oily as many others have commented. Poor construction in the sense that the wrapper at the foot of the cigar unraveled and the wrapper developed splits along its lenght. Dry draw was flavorful with promises of a heavy-bodied smoke which was borne out by the initial inch or so of smoking. However, this rapidly dissipated as the cigar became mild-medium bodied at best. Uneven burn produced a not unpleasant but undefinable taste, perhaps earthy as others have mentioned. Overall, this cigar experience was rather one-dimensional and not particularly memorable.

Review Notes: I've been hit and miss with Rocky Patel's cigars. Well this one was definitely on target. I really liked the salty-sweet flavor with hints of nuts and leather. The worse part was that the flavor of the first two thirds did not make it to the finish. maybe it got a little hot. I wish now I'd taken advantage of some of the specials on this stick.

Review Notes: Put a less ostentatious band on this cigar and it would pass for a much more costly stick. A nice oily wrapper, solid construction, and a really fine aroma. Kind of fruity with a little spice to it. The flavor is leathery for the first third but turns a little waxy after that. Not top of the line, but acceptable considering the price. Overall, a decent bargain smoke.
