Review Notes: I've smoked several of these cigars in different sampler packs, one or two at a time, and they all have had some burn issues of some kind. I had one that had more runs than a cheap stocking, the one that I'm smoking now only needed one or two touch-ups. The wrapper is a bit thin for such a large ring gauge, but with a nice oily sheen. It seems counter- intuitive that such a large cigar needs a kid glove approach. I do like the flavor profile though, a bit dry on the finish with good maduro taste. If you want a great cigar of this size, try the CAO Brazilia, a truly fantastic cigar for less money than the MAXX. I would not buy a box of these cigars, but they do have their charms.

Review Notes: This cigar is nice to look at. The flavors didn't deviate much from leather, tobacco, and some coffee notes. It did pick up a little pepper and cedar in the last 2" though. The draw was good for such a big ring gauge, but the burn needed corrected several times. Maybe I'm a little impatient, as I didn't let it deviate too much before fixing. Not a bad smoke, just not anything to get excited about.

Review Notes: This fat cigar is really nice to look at. I couldn't wait to smoke it, especially since I've enjoyed the "Freak" of the same Maxx Line several times. I was a bit disappointed, besides the looks, the burn and draw were good. But the problem was mostly with the taste. Kind of boring, the Freak at least had a nice heady twang. The Fix had the taste of okay leather with some moderately tasty tobacco. Probably wouldn't buy it again unless they fix it (ouch).

Review Notes: it was decent, but not a powerhouse and not a flavour bomb. bland taste, but smooth. cool nutty smoke, flawless draw. short finish. a tad grassy. some oh his other blends (tempest, scr, 1997 habano) are complex and memorable.

Review Notes: The taste was very good, a little bit of citrus and honey, which was different. Great draw and good burn. Cool burning smoke!
