Review Notes: 6 months age has developed the flavors into a smooth cornucopia of deliciousness. Spicy medium+ body and did I mention it's very flavorful? Rewarding, very, very, very rewarding.

Review Notes: This is a real honker, 56 ring gauge, a regular jawbreaker. In general I prefer a smaller ring size. Depending on the cigar anywhere from 43-50. In a torpedo 52 works nicely. Some cigars get more powerful as the ring width goes up some become more mild. In the case of the M.G. the later holds true. I have tried these in each size available. The corona is the best followed by the torpedo. None are powerhouses. The toro was a cream in coffee brown. The wrapper was bumpy and veiny, very dried leafy but not unattractive. The ring size required my Swiss Army knife cigar cutter, my only cutter that would easily fit besides my cigar scissors, a punch may be more appropriate for this cigar. As I clipped the head the thin brittle wrapper ripped a small bit. This was even in spite of the cigar having been stored in a well humidified quality humidor. Upon lighting a mild but pleasant nutty taste appears as smoking goes on the taste becomes somewhat cereal-like. The smoke has an appealing aroma. The body is weak and the flavor barely reaches the outskirts of medium in strength. It continually sideburned (as many fat cigars do). The ash was flakey and weak. This cigar is large in size and small in flavor, but not unpleasant as it did not display the typical "bad mild cigar taste". If anything the M.G. toro is an inoffensive cigar.

Review Notes: Mar ve lous. You're gonna love this cigar. It's got flavor, strength, character and super construction. I'm usually the guy that says the big companies with the big brands are over hyped and too expensive, Macs and Montes come to mind, but this is the real deal. Starts sweet, creamy, and tasty then develops into a satisfying med-full smoke. The appearance is not great but who cares you can't smoke and taste appearance.

Review Notes: 56 ring gauge is a little big for me but... Overall a very nice cigar. Flavorful, nutty, bready. Good draw and smoke volume
