Review Notes: Bought this cig' off CB last week - I always try one when I buy a kind that I have never had before - it was with out a doubt a beautiful maduro with a near perfect wrapper. It had a cellophane wrapper I had never seen on any other cigar - the head was normal but at the foot instead of the typical fold over - it was clipped off to expose the cigar foot. The pre-lit aroma was great. Well, the good feeling wore off quickly upon lighting it up. I was just barely able to create a draw to keep it lit. After 1/3 of the way, the draw got better, but the leather taste was so overpowering, I thought I was smoking an old shoe. I also fought runners the whole way and considered often to 'bogart' the stick. After this initial encounter, I have thrown them to the back of the humidor in hopes they get better with age and thankful I only bought 10 of them.

Review Notes: A value priced cigar with premium quality flavor and construction. Very good burn and draw in a medium bodied solid smoke with hints of chocolate and coffee. Lots of smoke and a pleasure to smoke and at this price you can smoke alot of them. Big meaty stick thats packaged nice. Keeper.

Review Notes: A very surprizing cigar, very tasty, felty, smooth and rich, one of the better cigars around. CA did rate it a 90 and I think it is a solid 90. I have bought several boxes now and have not been disappointed. Very chocolaty with coffee tones. For the price, it's a steal.

Review Notes: The MM has a flavor profile far more complex than one would ever expect from an under 3 buck stick--Licorice, cocoa, and leather abound. If there's one major rap on these guys, it's the inconsistent construction. Within the same box, look forward to a few that will burn perfectly, a few that will develop massive runners and burn to the shape of a canoe, and a bunch of different burns in between. Normally, this kind of inconsistency bugs me to the point of giving up on a line altogether, but between the mouthfeel of the square press and complexity of flavor, I've been able to forgive the flaws. The Excalibur prensado osc. is my square press of choice, but this does me just as well (better if you're only looking to satisfy the taste buds) and is a brilliant, affordable everyday smoke.

Review Notes: Was the third cigar of the night and the flavor profile came though in a big way. Nice dark oily wrapper, good construction and draw, and lots of complexity to the taste.
