Review Notes:
I bought a box of these when JR had a free coffee promotion going, I only drink mayorga coffee now:) Out of the box, nice jet black box pressed sticks. I smoked a few right away and they were good, but now a year and a half later... These cigars can rival anything out there. Almost a sweet mocha-coffee pre light aroma with a hint of earth. Easy draw and nice burn, did not need any touch ups. Very smooth flavor, not anything like when these cigars arrived. They have all the body and spice of a "heavier" cigar, but always there was an underlying mocha flavor. Started out mellow and gradually built in intensity but without loosing any subtle flavors, very complex, very satisfying. Buy a box of these, and forget you have them, it will a welcome surprise when you find them again.

Review Notes:
Like the topedos, these are a remarkable cigar. Flavor is along the lines of CAO Brazilia being earthy, coffee, and slightly peppery. There are some burn problems, noticibly near the foot, and you've got to light them well to avoid this condition. Nice color, lots of smoke, and outstanding flavor. I literally smoke these down to the nub, and they remain cool all the way down to my fingers. Not as powerful as they are flavorful, but you can get a slight buzz on an empty stomach. A lmust-buy for a medium-to-full cigar lover.
These are definately my new maduro of choice.

Review Notes:
This was a "HIGH OCTANE" Churchill Trios. Nice, even burn with lots of smoke. Good draw. Very well made. But, this bad boy needs about a year in the humidor. It certainly has potential, but somewhat one-dimensional for now. Has that typical "tinny" Nicuraguan cigar taste and smell. I know from 30 years of experience that it will dramatically improve after about a year in a humidor. Buy em' if you got time to age them.

Review Notes:
I got this cigar in a sampler, so I don't know what care was taken or if this was just one of a quantity that was not in as good condition as the others, so make note... The wrapper on this cigar was falling apart when I received it. Upon lighting, the flavor started out pretty good, with a sweet smell not unlike the Car. Torano "The Brick", but deteriorated as time went on. The burn was horrible as I struggled with tunneling, flaking, and relighting. This continued until the end, leaving me a bit disenchanted with this one.
