Review Notes:
Looks nice, draws well, burns well. Smooth, with a good medium-full body that lasts down to the nub. Flavors of earth, coffee nuts.

Review Notes:
Again, I'm smoking the packed-in-the-round, "hi-octane" version that can still be found here and there. Ugly, blotchy CR wrapper. Unique flavor, solid medium body. Chocolate and coffee, but with with a light, fresh finish. These have lost a little kick in the last nine months. I'd have been better off smoking them up back when I reviewed them last. Still, a tasty smoke and a respectable value. Most akin to the good half of a 5 Vegas "A" (before the ashtray/charcoal flavor dominates). Makes sense that there's a family resemblance, since both are apparently blended by Nestor Plasencia. IMO, the Mayorga is better.

Review Notes:
With a year under the belt of this cigar, the flavors have melded to a smooth nutty flavor with, of course, coffee. Really a nice cigar for the price.

Review Notes:
Don't let the rustic looking wrapper fool you, light brown with several blotches, dry and veiny. Very tasty, a complex mix of bread, nuts, cocoa and coffee. Smooth and fairly mild. Gets a bit bolder in taste and body about a third down into the burn, the coffee becoming more of an espresso flavor, and a fuller tabocco taste starts to emerge, but still a very good cigar. Good roll with a heavy box press, nice burn and draw. The flavors remind me very much of a milder version of Padron. This maduro tastes very different compared to the natural wrapped, H 2000 Mayorga, much mellower. A bargain at under $50 a box.

Review Notes:
Liked these when I got them, LOVE them with four years of maturity on them. Other reviewers correctly note the dry wrapper appearance. Construction is just average, but it throws a ton of chewy smoke, and the flavors have rounded out nicely. Pepper, coffee and a pleasant hint of mint, without the bite of its youth. If you've been holding onto some of these, they're ready for their close-up.
