Review Notes: I always buy form topcubans.com monti #2 age real well and it takes about 4 monthe to see a big improvment in taste. The construction of these babys jumps up and down from one stick to the other. when you hit a good one the cigar is smooth and burns well. AAlways a go back to smoke when you don't know what to pic out of the humi.

"The consistency is killing me"

Review Notes: Some are among the best I have ever had, some are just ok, some are just downright bad. Get this, all from the same three pack. If you have the opportunity to buy these, stick to the full boxes. Much more consistent. I think they have been overproduced, and due to the cost savings the three packs are the culprit of some inconsistencies in the overall blend. Always a creamy smooth smoke with a little power underlying, but the power of the ligero is sometimes lacking. Stick with the full boxes...hell, do a 4 way split if you have to, but get your hands on some of these to tuck away safely in your humi.

Review Notes: What do you say about this cigar that the other 257 reviews have not said? I love this taste, the creamy notes with the consistant draw. The cigar burns great, but I did have to relight once....I won't hold it against it. The construction is fantastic, with the ash not dropping to the last 1/3rd. Besides the H Upmann Magnum...you won't find a more consistant stick!

"One of the world's best"

Review Notes: This and the Partagas Lusitania Habana are my two favorite smokes. These #2's are what every maker should strive for -- full easy draw, huge smoke, consistently complex mellow flavor without harshness or off tastes, satisfying to the very end. One of the best medium body/flavor smokes there is. Worth every penny, and then some.

"Finally mine are getting good!"

Review Notes: I've always enjoyed the flavor of this cigar but the consistency just isn't there when young. This particular cigar I'm smoking has about a year of age on it and it's the best from this box I've had yet. It lit right up and has burned perfectly. A lot of creamy smoke in a full bodied cigar. The main knock on this cigar is that quality can be spotty and it really needs at least a year of age to come into it's own. I've found a nice alternative to be the Diplomaticos #2 which may not be as complex but still tastes great with better construction and consistency. The Dip may get better with age but it's ready to smoke now.
