Review Notes: I apparently got the twin of the smoke "scorb" describes below. Very tight draw and I had to relight 3! times. Unacceptable for a Monte, let alone a Cuban one. In fairness, I think it was over humidified and being on vacation, I didn't feel like taking the time to even it out. Taste was good, but I like the Cohiba Siglo II better in this size.

Review Notes: Soft construction and tight draw. Felt like sucking golf balls through a straw to get any smoke. Kept going out as well. Didn't get much flavor out of it. Disappointing. Way overpriced at $14 in Casa Del Habano.

Review Notes: First cuban I have had. I thought it was very good. I got some in Spain in November. I am going to leave the remainder to rest in my humidor for awhile to see if they will get better. Very nice taste, full of smoke. I have had some Fuente Don Carlos and hemingways which are just as good though. So, the ISOM mystic is gone for me for the moment. Having said this, get some if you can.

Review Notes: I have a review of a 9 month old Monte 4 below. Tonight I smoked one with about 3 years on it, and it made all the difference in the world. Still a good draw and razor sharp burn, but this time with the flavor and complexity I had hoped for with the first one. A good cigar, I imagine it would get better and better with more and more age.
