Review Notes: I must say this is the best Montecristo I have tried. Mild and to me flavourful. Most o the Montecristo's I have tried have seen to have been harsh and I really don't see the hype with them, but to each his own that is why there are so many brands.

"A bargain smoke for 15-20 minutes"

Review Notes: I gotta say I smoked 1 tin (3 smokes) and nothing. Flat, overpowering, and lacking any flavor profile except pure pepper. Then, I took the other 12 out of their celos and let them rest for a few months. Bam! There is that cubanesque flavor I was looking for. Look for these periodically on cbid. If you crave full flavor and don't have a lot of time, these, are great. Alternatively, try the Ashton minis, padron minis, or even the cohiba pequenos.

"Very good short smoke"

Review Notes: I smoke a good deal of small cigars in the winter here in the Northeast, and I was pleasantly surprised by this stick. I snagged 'em on the devil site for near $2ea., not thinking it was a great bargain. Until I smoked them that is. I had 12 and have 2 left now. Thus far each was consistent in both burn - steady and even, draw - excellent, and flavor - very tasty. I agree with an earlier reviewer that a cigar in this size doesn't develop quite as much and tends to burn hot at the end, but I do enjoy these as short smokes. They are med to full in body with a good amount of spice. I get a woody, nutty taste and aroma from the mexican wrapper. And they actually smoke for quite some time to boot, courtesy of the belicoso vitola. I'll keep these on my short list for winter smokes, and look forward to trying some of the larger sizes.

"Steely taste"

Review Notes: After 3 months of humi time, I lit one up. Construction was good, and this petite cigar has some beauty too it. The downfall was the flavor --- it had a steely edge to it along with a bit of harshness at times. This cigar is not for me.

"Smooth but flavorless"

Review Notes: I judge all cigars in this price range and size by the La Aroma de Cuba Corona Minor. This Montecristo just doesn't measure up, and it costs more. It is a nice cigar, easy to smoke, great draw and ash. One of the great pleasures, for me, in smoking a cigar is a changing flavor profile. At under $3 a stick (by the 25ct box) La Aroma delivers that - big time. This Montecriso is same from start to finsh with no flavors that stand out at all. I'd still smoke them, in fact I have 11 to go, but when I want to take notice of my smoke in this size/price it will be the La Aroma that I reach for.
