Review Notes: With a word like platinum right in the name I really expected a much better cigar. Construction is well-made, packaging is nice, but this smoke is very bland to my taste. This is not a bad cigar, but after smoking two my curiosity is satisfied and I will not be purchasing any more.

Review Notes: I smoked 3 of these, hoping that maybe they would get better over time. Smoked one 2 weeks after delivery..........horribly flavorless, after the third re-light it went into the yard. 2nd one I lit up 6 months after purchase. The cigar was as flavorless as the first one I had.......and the draw was impossible. 3rd stick I lit up a year after purchase........by far the worst of the bunch. Horrible draw, no plume what so ever, and the stick was STILL bland!!!!!!!!! Steer clear of this turd!

Review Notes: Once again, nothing but hype up for disappointment. I keep trying different montecristos hoping that they will live up to their reputation, but I keep getting let down. The only Monte I like out of the now 6 that I've tried is the white labels. Forget all the others just go for the white label.

Review Notes: Decent...not among the best montecristo lines. Burn was sloppy and the draw was a bit tight. Flavor was even, smooth, and tasty.

Review Notes: First of all I laughed my ass off at the last two reviews; good stuff. The construction was top notch, as was the draw and burn as a result. Beautiful caramel wrapper... and not taste to speak of for the first half of the cigar, and it's 5"! For the last third of the smoke it developed some really interesting woody and earthy flavors. Too bad for the majority of it I kept looking at thinking yeah it appears to be a lit cigar but it doesn't taste like anything. Not to be confused with mild either. I agree the Dom Monty's are way hyped and incredibly over priced. The only ones I ever seem to smoke were part of some other deal.
